House Party – Rufus Gifford for Congress

House Party – Rufus Gifford for Congress

It’s Friday night, we’re in Concord, Massachusetts,
and we are on our way to a house party. A house party is just when someone, usually
a supporter of the campaign, brings their friends over to hear a little bit about the
campaign, learn a little bit about me, and give them an opportunity to ask questions. Anytime a member of the community invites
their friends and neighbors over to their home to have a conversation about politics
with a political candidate—it’s kind of everything about the sort of campaign that
we want to run, which is just human to human, home to home, neighborhood to neighborhood. The dialogue that you have with the people
in the community at these house parties is just great. And they have the ability to learn a little
bit more about us and what this campaign is all about. So, we’ll do as many of these as we can.
