Why Thoughts Are So Powerful | David Horsager | The Trust Edge

(upbeat music) – Competency goes back to an original science, right? Every science says this. Business, we say input leads to… Input leads to output, and every science says the same thing. First thought of thermodynamics, the great German physicist found, the energy you put in is exactly the same as
the energy you get out. In farming or theology,
you reap what you… That’s right! And physiologically, you
eat a bad bowl of chili… (crowd laughter) Input, output, baby. Basic psychology, remember
the first day in class? Thoughts that go in lead to
desires, which lead to… Actions! The guy didn’t just
get caught in adultery! It started with a thought,
became a desire, became acted on, and it always starts over here! Always. That’s the same for you. You know, we created the
Enterprise Trust Index™ and a few assessments because
we knew if we can assess what goes in a company,
we can guarantee output. And you don’t need an assessment to do it, you can think about your organization. You start telling me about your input, I can guarantee your sales. Because it’s a direct reflection. It’s the same with me, right? If I make sure and have a
gallon and a half of water a day and four green vegetables a
day, I can handle some ice cream no problem. That’s a direct reflection
of input equaling output. Your relationship with your kids, your relationship with your spouse, partner or friend, it’s always direct relationship. Input equals output. – If you liked that, subscribe
